lol...weird..
so nobody listens to hiphop while they trick huh?...
The only songs that make me think "tricks" are probably anything from the downtempo genre.
So stuff like Nujabes, Bonobo and so on...
And obviously songs used in samplers.

I listen to hiphop, jazz, blues, techno, trance, rock, metal, jrock, the works. but I usually don't get to listen to music while tricking -only when practicing bboy moves in my kitchen.

hip hop is always good for drilling sessions. Theres a constant rhythm with no crescendo's you feel you have to pull a trick on etc, so theres no "music pressure" haha. Its also pretty relaxing as well to listen to, you can "feel it" rather than feeling pushed by it.
Saying that though, some drum and bass is nice to have on in the background in a session, as well as some metal.

Pendulum, tekken soundtrack or machinae supremacy is usually what I listen to while I trick. Maye some hiphop for chill sessions.
