What are the worst things to eat to reduce body fat?

Shear

Trans fats, saturated fats, fast food, alcoholic drinks, soda, hydrogonated vegetable oils.

Does it matter how much fruit I eat?

Eh, fruits are generally high carb high natural sugar content but not especially high in calories (at least to my knowledge) I don't see fruits as a problem.

Trans fats, saturated fats, fast food, alcoholic drinks, soda, hydrogonated vegetable oils.

This minus saturated fat. You need saturated fat, and it's not inherently bad. Balance it out with poly and monounsaturated fats.

Really it's more about how much you eat than what you eat. You can lose bf% while eating fast food as long as you are eating less calories than you need to maintain your current weight. If you have a problem with hunger, then it's best to eat food that is more filling with less calories such as fruit. Protein, fat, and fibrous foods tend to be pretty filling also.

In some cases, the bed. In juji's guide he says to only go there for sleep or sex. Both help weight loss apparently, unless you get an STD or something.

When I lie on my bed while awake I end up reading, but not the good kind which has your brain burn calories, usually just RPGs where I rehash how to be a munchkin.

As someone already said, they are high in sugar, and such. But fruit is generally okay as long as you use all of the sugar you intake from it. Vegetables like carrots are also high in glucose, so be prepared to burn that off too.

But to lose body fat you should avoid snacking between meals. All natural foods generally have less fat so you may want to try adding more of that to your diet.
Also try getting your protein from supplements instead of meat, or try to get meat with less fat.

Lastly drink lots of water. Water helps speed up your metabolism. Read Juji's article on water for more specific information

Yeah I hate when sugar just sits there.

Fat intake has a good impact on lyposis.

You're probably the only one who's said supplements > food.

I don't think supplements are better, but if you want the protein without as much fat, then supplements are the things to go for.

I eat a double cheeseburger from McDonalds two sometimes three times a week before my workout and I have been losing fat. I try to eat pretty healthy most of the time besides that and I have worked my metabolism to where I have to eat or I crash.

I only ate 100 grams of carbohydrates one week and I lost 14 pounds. (roughly 3000 calorie/day intake)

For about a month one time at college I ate soft serve ice cream with hot fudge (75% of my diet), and hamburgers (25%), and I lost weight. I can't say it was healthy, but it shows that a person can eat shit and still lose weight.

Thats coz weight loss isn't so much what you eat, it's how much you eat.

Sep-14-08, 06:32 PM
yes, but the question is if you want to lose weight, or lose fat... Losing 'weight' is one of the easiest things ever, but losing just fat and maintaining muscle mass is a whole different story

I struggled like hell to lose fat few months back, even though my diet was 1500cal from mostly protein, fruits and low Gi carbs. Nowdays i don't logg my diet eat 6-8 light meals and very little protein(coming from meat) and i've lost 18kgs of FAT in 2.5months.
Sooo i'd be thinking if it works for you it is not always going to work for me.

Note: sugar is evil (unless its fructose which is low gi)

Exercise and calorie restriction are like 5000000000000 times more important for fat loss than anything you actually eat, including my tirades about carbohydrates

The classic, manly way.

As evidenced in the likes of Karl, who eats everything or nothing, but just trains all the time and has no fat (looking like a Metal Gear Solid character or something) and has black men walking up to him and shaking his hand because he's "beautiful", or me, who has girls saying I'm "huge" and "heavily muscled" even though I'm like 175 lbs and barely eat more than the average person.
