I do think that stretching before an exercise does not helps you preventing an injury. But, if somebody already has an injury (on joints or muscles), should they stretch before weight lifting? For example, if one person has a hamstring injury and another person has a knee injury, is stretching good for any of them?
Thank you.

I think it really helps, at least it does for me!

Stretching will dampen the response of the Golgi organ, increasing the possibility that you will reinjure yourself.
