Hello everyone! What suppliers/brands do you use for your staple supplements to get a satisfactory balance between quality and price?

Depends, where are you ? myprotein.co.uk has got very good prices, if you're in Europe it's probably cheaper than your local store.

depends what kind of supplements you're after.

i use bulkpowders.co.uk for the majority of my stuff, its really cheap and the stuff is always good.

However if you're after really specific stuff then its sometimes worth paying a bit more. As a rule of thumb though you can generally get unbranded supplements that are equal/better quality than branded ones for alot less.

im not familiar with the brands in the uk, but i tend to follow these guidelines:

whey protein: (never use soy protein products unless you want to kill your testosterone)
generally it doesnt matter what brand, just try and find one that tastes
good and is low in carbs, with a protein average of 20g per serving or more
and obviously the more servings you get for a lower price, the better.
Try and stay away from brands that have had the names burned at all.

Glutamine(powder): essential to anyones supplements arsenal. brand not important, in general they all have a good standard glutamine powder.

depends what your goals are for supplementation, but as far as basics go, these two are very important, as well as daily multivits and fishoils....
