Meh... just looked sloppy. Why you would do a kick at that point makes no sense.

Hmm... "hyper" really doesn't belong in a movement that does not contain twist. (by which I mean "hyper flash" can go to hell)

but more importantly, you may be interested to hear this story:

One time I was sitting in the gym & we were talking about corkscrew round kick and Prodigy goes "What if I did a cork, then came around like I was gonna swingthru but did a half gyro and a round kick kinda like a double9?" And then he did it. It was the best trick ever. It looked like this only super cool. I can't do it.

'Hyper Flash' is logical in that the move is landed on the opposite leg by means of over-rotation (not switching).

Although I can see the potential need to express the way in which the move was over-rotated.

How about moves that are 'hypered' by extra flip rather than spin are given the prefix 'super'?

Superflash? Fulltwist Superflash? Doublefull Super Double Flash?

Anyone?

Edit: By the way, this is a pretty bad example of a Full Superflash. It's got the super but there's not nearly enough flash.

i say we add 3000 to the end of name, flashkick 3000

in all seriousness i like your idea

Yeah someone try it and name it 'swingthrough' if you land it.

Hahaha, 3000!

Uberflash could also be cool.

However It doesn't seem worth introducing a whole new prefix for just one trick and I'm struggling to think of any moves other than flashkicks that require it.

Maybe if someone 'hypered' a Hyperswipe it could be a Superswipe/Uberswipe?

You can hyper an aerial and that has no twist in it...

Chill out man haha. im just trying to do something new. theres a reason i did it on the trampoline and seeing if some one whos better than me will give it a go on the ground. its like if you were trying a cork round and some one said "man thats pointless for you to do the kick, it just looks bad". not everything is going look clean the first time you do it.

Superflash?

Check. Already been using this term for some time now, you'll see it in my upcoming 'hyper' exemplar. :good:

You can hyper an aerial and that has no twist in it...

To be fair, we've never actually seen a "hyper aerial," we have only seen a hyper sideflip (tuck) with an aerial takeoff. As an aerial itself (the one that we HAVE seen) is nothing more than a sideflip, there is a near and a far leg due to the nature of the design of the human body and the fact that when rotating sideways, a designation of "right" and "left" leg are important. This makes enough sense that I sometimes use the term "hyper sideflip."

As I see it, the flashkick being an evolved form of a regular backflip does necessitate a separate term for "over" doing a movement that essentially has no front and back leg, an "over-flipped." I have worked this into the re-done Aeriform Tricktionary & it fits well. A little longer & I will elaborate on this :oriental:
