Growing taller

Is there anything that I can do to help me get taller? I'm currently 5'9 but my dads 6'. I always assumed that I would be as tall as my father but I'm almost 18 and it hasn't happened yet and now I'm worried that it isn't going to happen at all. I know that men can grow up until the age of 21. I still have some time but if I don't do something soon I will remain at this height for the rest of my life.

I've tried looking for information on the internet but I was wondering if anyone had any advice or any idea on what I should be doing. Someone told me that stretching might help and I've been doing toe touches regularly. I was also looking at human growth hormone stimulators. Although I don't entirely trust them and there very expensive.

Does anyone think its over for me? Am I at that age where I'm permanently done growing? Has anyone else had a late growth spurt after the age of 18? Thanks in advance to any information or advice.

My dad didn't finish growing till he was 25-27... He is now 6' and size 9 shoe. When my mom married him at 24 he was 5'11 and size 8 shoe. I don't think it would be uncommon if you continued growing into your mid twenties, I am 19 currently and i'm pretty sure I will be growing until I'm about 25.

Yeah your probably right. I don't think the pills are worth it anyways. I'm going to try to lift weights and eat healthier, I heard intense exercise can stimulate growth in your body. So I might give it a shot and start go back to the gym, its been a while.

Edit: Exercise naturally increases the amount of HGH (human growth horomone) your body produces. So I guess its better than buying pills.

I really hope they haven't yet because I'm still under 18, I know they close between the ages of 18-21 but the age at which they close depends on the person. If they haven't closed yet its not entirely impossible for me to still grow. Even if I grew an inch more, I'd be happy.

The last thing I wanna do is get vieny and get a huge jaw. I'm not looking to get that huge. I wanna get toned, maybe ripped. I'm mostly gonna do bench presses and squats. The thing is I've never worked out lower body before. I've hear leg exercises can stimulate growth in your back and chest. Does anyone know the proper technique for doing squats? I'll probably try them for the first time today.

I absolutely refuse to believe that this is my genetic potential. I will feel incomplete for the rest of my life if this is really my genetically predetermined maximum height. Don't try to tell me that I am good the way I am or any of that bullshit. Its something I will never accept for myself. I've always wanted to be around 6"2, 190 pounds. I know that will never happen, but if I could at least grow to 6' I could probably live with myself. I'm 1.93 m and I don't find it special or amazing. It's more of a hindrance if you ask me. Car roof is too low and it's impossible to adjust the seat properly, normal bikes don't fit you, door frames are your archenemies, problems with clothes (either they are too short or too wide)... I can't even go to all rides in fun park.

I was doing some stretches that target your spine. Apparently only the bottom section of your spine fuses together and the rest of it is still flexible. I apparently gained a 1cm of height and appartently it might be possible to gain an extra inch or two just by fully stretching your spine.

Good posture, decompressing your spine after heavy lifting (chinup bar or gravity boots), thick-soled shoes... you can try that thing with sprinting and tractioning your femur that some people try on the web but I don't think that works.
