Today I cooked in my pan, half pasta and half rice. The pasta bag was much emptier than I thought, so I thought some rice would be an idea to top it up.
Logged in 2 tablespoons of butter and a teaspoon of salt, brought it to the boil and stirred it every once in a while, one the water was boiling I turned the gas of and left it with the cover on the pan.
Later on I went back, and in this pot is enough to last me another 2-3 days at least, but it was so god damn tasty the first bowl.
The rice became nice and clumpy and like, wrapped itself into the pasta haha, along with the butter the pasta was so YUM YUM and had a great texture to it. This was an ultimate mixture.
Later on I had some more with some chopped up tomatoes and melted cheese :]
Just thought I'd share. Next time you go to cook rice or pasta, have half the contents as the other, and you won't regret it <3
