Are we supposed to feel the stretch on the thighs or the whole leg? Where's the stretch supposed to be?

Because of the nature of the stretch whatever part of your body is least flexable will be stretched the most. Probably the thigh though because it puts this muscle at a mechanicle disadvantage

alright. What if you're feeling it on the calfs/shins?

The thing is, I felt it in the hamstrings/around the thighs before I felt it on the calves. So I'm confused about it :/
So is it the calves or the hamstrings? Where is it usually felt since it affects the tightest muscle?

It's felt wherever you feel it?
Which legs are you talking about? You say "hamstrings/thighs" and "calves/shins". I take it you're not feeling a stretch in both opposing muscles...?
A front lift stretch is more or less designed to stretch the hamstrings of the kicking leg. If you're feeling it elsewhere, either your technique is off, or you just lack flexibility in said elsewhere.
That answer it?

Hmm...so it's supposed to stretch the hamstrings? Alright. Thanks.
