My friend Seth sent me a message today saying that he feels like he is in a tricking slump. What's the best advice I should give him? Should he just rest completely for a week or two or only do light stretching and basic tricks?

He's in college now so he has less of an oppurtunity to trick, but he still likes too. Anyway, any advice I should give him?

and I'm dead serious when I say that

Failing is the best way to learn, but I think he's had enough of that. He's says he's lost a few basic tricks, but he didn't specify. I hope he can still do a 540 AT THE VERY LEAST

15 push ups ever 30 minutes...

Actually, tell him to combo more and to try something new every session.

I think he meant fall more, not fail more. Falling is not failing.

What brought him to tricks in the first place?

Yes

And it's a fall based on something awkward. As Origional said, try something different every day, and don't be afraid to fall. Tricksters are often surprised that they can't do certain basic moves (like pophyper360s)

Drill basics, watch tricking vids.

Almost everyone if not everyone gets in a slump, regardless of sport, (im assuming) but just keep on tricking and eventually things will start to turn up.

You want a slump? Try having a 2 year lasting injury then you can say you have a tricking slump.

1. Rest
2. Get a good sleeping pattern, get to sleep before 12AM every night. (8 hours sleep)
3. Eat healthy (including breakfast every day)
4. Don't over train, one way street to loosing tricks!
5. Supplementation cant hurt if after the above hasn't helped after a week or so, Wheat grass or multi vital or something.

It seems with tricking being pushed so far everyone is training to keep up and not giving the time for rest. Rest Improves Tricks People!

Oh I see, I get it now. And he did XMA for awhile and got into tricking after he got bored with XMA
