Wheel = no leading chamber.
Hook = leading chamber.

Chamber increases speed (and subsequently power). No chamber is usually easier to do for beginners or those who haven't trained in MA.

Danny always chambers. It's very fast so you hardly notice it, and his leg doesn't bend back very far since it's happens so quickly. But the technical value is still there.
