What are your weird trick progressions/whateva

I mean, well here's some of mine;

I learned to do front and back handsprings, and front flips before I even tried to cartwheel or round-off

I can currently double full at the gym but can't full (lack of control)

I learned to rudy on plyo, but still can't back full

I've been trying to front aerial for 3 yrs(I got it once and lost it)and still can't do it

I tried to double back on grass having never tried it anywhere before

I feel that I can almost double b-twist, but I can't hyper

I find 540 gyros easier than 540s, but either way they're really inconsistant

My standing bhs backtuck was higher than my round-off backtuck for the longest time(but that's fixed now)

that's all I can think of for me

i can't cork but, i can hyper cork, box, and probably double...

I can't do a cartfull but, i can scoot full. I learned to scoot full from thinking of it as a cork off two feet.

I learned GMS by doing gainer switches off my opposite side.

I haven't even tried some transitions like Cart>Front but i can Cart>Full!

when i learned cork the only tricks i could do were back flip and a tucked gainer. no full btwist or gainer flash.

It take me 2 month to learn a aerial on my right side. After I realize that all my trick were left side so can't combo it without beeing gay.

Then I learn aerial on my left side.

It take me 2 minutes...

Second day I try them, I was doing side2side :tongue:

As for me:

I learned to cork and boxcutter from standing because I couldn't J-step till I was working on doubles.

I got gainer switch and cork on my bad side before a regular gainer.

I could only do sideswipes, sideknives, jackknives, and front aerials from a spinning crescent s/t, and it took me much longer to get it from a regular setup.

Reverse brandy and axebrandy are pretty much exactly the same, just whatever one you tried first.

You dont need to be able to 360 to 720 at all. Or 540 to cheat 720 or cheat 9 as their completly different. Or sideswipe to raiz as they can be trained in different ways..

So what lol? A prerequisite implys that you have to be able to do it to be able to do the postrequisite. This does not apply at all to those kicks you mentioned.

It does however apply to cork>boxcutter
backflip>double backflip
540>jacknife

etc.

I see what you mean, you could definitely get the 720 without having a 360.. but with a good foundation, it'd probably be better and consistent! When I first got my c720, I didn't get it completely consistent until I got the 540 down.
