Update: Matt has been working hard to recover and is still VERY much interested in tricking and the sport martial arts circuit. Stay tuned, I'm sure he appreciates everyone's support.
"It's hard to believe it's been 11 weeks since my injury. I have been going to physical therapy 3 times a week for the last month. I'm driving now and able to get around pretty good on crutches. The exercises at physical therapy are really different compared to my training prior to my injury. I am still at non-weight bearing status so all the exercises are done while I am sitting. A bicycle machine is the latest addition to my therapy. It took some time before I was able to get the petal all the way around the bike but today I succeeded. It was a huge accomplishment (believe it or not). I now am able to bend my leg at 100 degrees which is past the doctor's goal of 90 degrees at this point in time. The recovery process is slow but coming along very well. My doctor is amazed at how well the plateau and the fracture are healing. Keep you posted after my next doctor's appointment."
