This sampler is fucking excellent, bro. The editing was absolutely great. I especially loved the color flashes during the black and white scenes.

Tricks were phenomenal. I already knew that since you send me pretty much every clip you get.

I remember when you were soooo determined to get double cork in grass. Now it's just stupid easy for you. Most Excellent!

My favorite part is definitely when I rush you full speed from across the room when you double cork_cork. I know how badly you wanted that one and I still can't explain how proud I am.

I hate so much that we can't trick together as much as we used to, but when we do trick together, it is epic. Keep up the awesomesauce my friend. Not just friend. One of my best (You and Jeremy)

First of all, I'm sorry about the background information. I hope you recover well, and come back stronger than ever. I am having personal problems as well, but know that the problems can be helped by tricking, and pushing yourself.

Secondly, I liked the music. It fits your style in my opinion. The opening c7 was massive! I like your c9 as well, I wish mine was that good. The editting such as the thing you did with the text is amazing! You are getting even better than ever at tricks, I have always wanted your corks. Scalco combo at 2:42 FTW! Doubles are insane! Your overall appearence and the "laid back" attitude of your tricks plus the s/ts after every twist resemble Teddy...

I mean, I've seen your earlier sampler and I liked it! I thought your style was very original and aggressive. Now your style is more "chill" which I can see in the slowness of some moves (mainly kicks). Your Hook kick has changed drastically from 'Get off Your Feet' which again looks much like Teddy's.

That doesn't mean I didn't like the sampler! The music was nice and it reflected the happenings in your personal life. Seeing you pour your emotions on this video made it more enjoyable to watch! As for the tricks your twists have gotten more violent and efficient; some crazy stuff going on there! The kicks should have a better extension and more aggressiveness but I guess this is just a style issue (?).

Haha, I have always stolen styles from people. The first style I stole was Dave C.'s his btwists and hooks and spinning styles. The next style i stole was Anis' i stole his corks and spins as well, i tried to take his kicks but wasn't so successful. Recently I did steal Teddy's style, I've found his style to work better for me for where i want to go with my tricks. that's where i got the meaning for my ditto avatar, i'm basically a tricking ditto when it comes to styles and tricks. And as for my hair and what not, i cut my hair before moving in to school because i wanted a change and his hair style was the only style that i really liked that was shorter than what i had. The issue with the kicks in there extension and aggressiveness is that i am simply not very good with kicks, lol. I'm not trying to rip off any one and claim their style to be mine own original style. I just find a style i like and think would work for me and copy it.

I am guilty of giving Rudy more shit about looking/acting/tricking like Teddy than anyone on this planet.But even though I give Rudy a really hard time about it sometimes, I understand that it's not about being Teddy, but having the perfection of his tricks.

As you noted, the ditto avatar. Rudy has this insane ability to mimic other trickster's styles. I remember when we were first learning how to trick, everything he did started to mimic Dave C (because we have always trained with him). Even some of his clothing choices seemed to mimic Dave's at times. lol.

Then as we tricked more, Rudy became heavily influenced by Anis. As he watched more and more of Anis, his tricks became very similar to Anis.

The hook_cart_w/tfull_gainer_w/tfull combo in his Get Off Your Feet sampler came after watching some Flow samplers.

And now, Rudy's primary influence is Teddy. Everything Teddy does looks stupid easy and it has an amazing flow to it. This has always appealed to Rudy and now he pushes to achieve the same level of perfection. In result, his style does look like Teddy's....

i watched your video 5 days back and i thought, this guy has endured alot.

Saturday,
me and my gf has a big fight and it got to a point where we were almost broke up. it did not get any better or worse.
the next day was a scheduled tricking day, alone.
i went to the oval, did all the warmup. but for some reason i just couldnt trick, i could not even throw a 540. i was kneeling on the ground at some stage, thinking, just thinking about stuff. but then i remembered you and your video.
i told myself 'if it is this hard for me, it would have been alot worse for you', from there, i understood the situation you were in, and it motivated me.i could picture you saying to me 'stay strong'.... i stood up and started to trick again and at least got some decent tricks thrown that day.
as soon as i got home, i quickly apologized to my gf.
and i'm still waiting for the reply right now.....

as I'm type this, I'm still crying on the inside.
i admire you Rudy,

I shouted out loud multiple times and by the end I was genuinely extremely excited and wanted to go out and trick, despite the fact it's winter and 23:30 at night.

Some of your w/t stuff is really crazy... I am working on various w/t moves as well so I feel I can really appreciate that kind of thing... doubles and s/t to and from doubles was immense.

All round awesome sampler... one of my favourites this year.

Majestic double tricks; each one was infused with awe-inspiring raw power, tough and meaty like a rack of ribs. And fuck me that double-swing-cork blew my socks away forcefully. Your comboage was very much jealousy-creating; I envy your casual-yet-refined style. IT IS OF A BEASTLY NATURE. And to top it all off, the video was a visual buffet, except not in that shitty buffet style where like at some buffets some of the food is shit and there's only a few good things but they usually go quickly you know like chicken satay sticks or marshmallows because they're popular, more like in a magical only-dreamt-of buffet style where everything is delicious and nothing runs out. Food glorious food, editing-wise. Sexual effects, evocative song. Rudy is the hombre.
