Learning in NYC?

Hey everyone,

This site is an amazing resource! Question for you- I searched the forum for New York, but saw little from my own city (shame!). I'm interested in meeting and training with people in Brooklyn or Manhattan if anyone is interested in teaching.

I've just started to learn about the sport (art?) and have done gymnastics and plenty of martial arts in the past- so not a total noob but surely a novice. Anyone in my sleepless city? Anyone?

Saturdays at aviator gymnastics in brooklyn, get there at about 4:45 and u'll leave hopefully at 7:30. For directions go to aviatorsports.com

I live in PA, but I'm way northeast of you in Scranton. I wish there was a huge east coast gathering similar to the Midwest Gathering or Loopkicks haha

the session is $15 to get in

they also have an insurance fee thing, which you pay the first time you go which is $14 or $16

in short, your first time bring a lil more than 30bucks and that will cover you for insurance for the year, its 15 each time after that


if you don't plan on coming more than like once every two months or something, just tell them you're from out of town and only going to be there for that day and they'll usually let you slide with the insurance thing

Hey! I'm in Brooklyn and want to start tricking with you guys. None of my friends are into it so I never really get any feedback or have training partners. I'll check out Aviator ASAP. I'm training to be a stuntman and want to get my tricking skills up.

also the subway/bus ride isnt too bad, gives you plenty of time to figure out what you wanna work on
