Is there a step by step tutorial on how to do/learn this?

It's called a press handstand, not an elephant lift. That variation is a pike on the concentric and a straddle on the eccentric and then devolves into a tuck.

well it has TWO names, so you cant provide any tutorials or advice?
if you are not used to handstand presses it is doubtful you will be able to do a straight arm pike press
learn some of the more basic handstand press, especially the straight arm straddle press before trying this variation
the key is to shift your weight from feet to hands without jumping
good luck
tutorial:
stand
bend down with straight legs
put hands on ground
shift weight to hands
lift feet off ground
engage your glutes

Haha. Yes. This is not some super secret move. What you see is what you do and, if you can't do it, you don't yet have the strength to perform it.
hand balancing takes a lot of practice and patience to level up in

I never progressed past the straddle press. I had poor comprehension of what my hips were up to while inverted though.

it's probably because your legs are so massive
I have big legs as well, and it makes hand balancing and bodyweight strength moves like the front lever considerably harder than for the average stick legged wanker

There aren't really any ways to make a tutorial on these type of things. You just keep trying to do them until you can do them lol. But try to find some tutorials for other moves such as handstands.

This is what i was looking for
kay: the way to vary handstand press is whether you have straight or bent arms, hips, and knees, and whether you are straddled or not
get the basic frog stand press and work from there. work your hand balancing skills often
the handstand press site really did not impress me much
but on the upside, I did some random handstand presses at work and found I can do a lot of moves easier than I used to be able to, including
tiger bends, straddle planche pushups, prone press to handstand, and super pushups, all on top of me getting sick.
