Heres what I've started taking, http://www.sixstarmuscle.com/products/creatine/creatine.shtml. This is the first time I've ever used any sort of workout supplement (ie. creatine, protein ect.).
Is it true that If I stop using creatine after say 2 months, all the muscle mass and strength that I have gain will disappear?
Thanks!

Creatine stores more water in your muscles. If you stop it you'll lose some strength and some weight. Muscle mass (as in fibers), won't be affected.
And if you do lose strength it will just be on the threshold of your ability to distinguish that you have lost strength, probably.

Lets say 1 year down the line, will I gain more muscle mass and strength using creatine (but stop using it in 2 months) then just plain old working out without any supplements?

Also, whats better....Taking creatine for 2 months or taking whey protein for 2 months?
Thanks a lot!

the reason why you shouldn't take creatine more then the recommended dose, is because it's a chemical thats already made in your body but not in a large ammount as youd take as supliment. If you don't take teh break inbetween your body will rely on the sups and stop making its own what is basically a terrible thing to have if you ever stop using creatine.
thats my only advice. Take the break

creatine just helps your bodies rate of ATP restoration...in other words, your energy replenishes faster, your workouts can be a bit longer and more intense. So why only take it for two months? If you have to choose between the two of them, go for the protein. But dont expect real results from just two months of either.

This is a myth. No need to cycle creatine at all.

If you have to ask, it's probably better that you take neither, worry about getting at least 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight, from real food, and research diet, and exercise.

Asking if you should cycle a protein supplement is like asking if you should cycle food.

If you ask something like that you need neither.

Take 3-5g a creatine a day until you die. However, if you drink green tea the latter will not happen so you can just take 3-5 grams forever.
