I'm not sure how much I like them.
You don't like deadlifts?
Well, like them!

I love deadlifts! Although the pain from high volume training of them that comes the next day is second to none haha :agony: I can't wait to ever start lifting again and be able to do deadlifts :]

Squats take it out of me a lot more mentally than deadlifts.

I'm way to scared to squat!
testing your one rep max on your first day of deadlifting may not be the best idea, but do whatever works
deadlifts are alright. I was able to progress in deadlifts faster than I was able to make squat progressions
I gain in squats faster because most muscles relevant to it are trained directly in dynamic movements within the squat whereas the grip that limits my deadlift is only trained isometrically in that lift

Who cares if you like them, do them anyway fag!

Well, you can also train your isometric grip during chins and rows... scapula above the bar! Shoulders ahead of the bar!
I do that also but even with 125 pound one arm rows it still doesn't do anything haha

Yeah same, since ive started deadlifts ive gone from ~150lbs to 280lbs.
As for squats, i started at ~200lbs and im only up to 260lbs. I was up to like 300lbs, but my form was shit, only half squats haha, so i dropped the weight down a bit.
As for liking them, i don't like them at all! But they have to be done, end of story :juji:

My deadlift has been stuck at 445 for about two months now because of my grip, and nothing has seemed to help it. I'll be able to work up to 445 maybe twice in a workout, and then my grip is too fatigued, to the point of barely getting 405 up.

Yes,grip has been the limiting factor in my deadlifts just lately.

I disslike squats so much. Mentally they are scary for me, I don't like the mid set that theres a chance I won't be able to stand back up, especially with much weight on by body. This restricts the amount of weight I can squat. It also hurts like fuck on the shoulders, I started using a towel on my back to stop the pain a heavy weight causes me haha.

i remember i couldn't stand up once haha. that was a pretty long time ago, though.
but you should be able to, provided your legs aren't fucking tired.
would you ladies care for some tampons to stick in your bleeding vaginas?

my progression is so fucking slow with deads atm
i'm stuck at 181 +- kilo think thats like 400lbs if i'm not mistaken
i've only managed to get +5kg in the last 3 weeks orso and thats a 1 rep
squats are awsome but also the progression is so slow, going ATG with 145-150kg on your back is fucking killer

Front squat then?

could be if front squats weren't different from regular squats.

I think the only main difference is more emphasis on the quads. Both back squats and deadlifts work the posterior chain a lot more than quads so I think it would be okay to completely replace back squats with front squats in the beginning.

Front squat then?
I loff deadlifts/pulls and power cleans, and squats I am starting to like more, now that I haven't been using 100kg and worrying about it. I was doing full range squats before, with my ass touching my heels, and it was scaring me haha.
I also have a knee injruy that I can't really understand, and should get checked it.
Basically, for years my left knee has been injured in some way, it's slightly stiff, but not all the time. If I stand up from any position with my knee bast 90 degrees inside my knee makes a weird sound, almost like tearing but almost like little pops at the same time, but more teary sounding. But it doesn't ever hurt, it jsut feels weird. Anywayyyyy yeah I am doing squats down to 90 degrees now and enjoying them more.
I decided that if lee haney won mr. olympia 8 times in a row only going to 90 degrees, then I don't need to go past it either. Especially since when you trick you would never bend your leg that far for anything anyway.
So nah I'm cool, thanks for caring!

You must have on hell of a tuck then. Haha I'm just screwing with you I know what you mean. Yeah I'm also not a fan of the heel touching squats, I just stick with a good 70 degrees or so. Deadlifts are cool but I like squats much more just because when you get that bar off your shoulders its like the most amazing feeling in the world haha. But also squatting so much that a spotter is useless is when it sucks

Aha my standing backflip is one trick I trained to get HUGE for soo long, I'm pretty happy with it, I'll film on sunday. But I'm rusty since I don't trick anymore haha. I can't wait till my jump increases though, then I'll have a much higher standing back
I need to have roundoff double backs consistant on grass every session by summer, so this is part of my training for it. I've only landed it one time, and that was the only day I tried them on grass :/
It's not even impressive anymore cause of fucking hellden doing them on wooden floors now haha.

Nice! Huge backtucks are sexy. O_o dang nice, I would never even attempt a double back that is just way to much fear for me haha, I would try any other double before that one I'm sure.
I applaud you for even landing one haha just don't go die !

Well I've only landed one on grass, I can land them any time on a plyo floor, it's easy.
It's just fear mannnn!
And having a good standing and roundoff backflip, no looking back shiteee.

Ok maybe its more then 70 degrees...I'll post some legs in physique section soon just for joo! :D
Haha yeah fear its a bitch on moves, I'll try a lot of things but that I don't know haha maybe one day when I feel like life isn't worth living anymore.
I'm so out of tricking though I doubt I can even backtuck well anymore.
