Whenever I do sidesplits I get very annoying cramps on the side of my upperleg under my hip. How do I get rid of this?

I'm afraid this is your only option.

Because graber lives in romania, shit that happens here 5 years ago is like brand new to them.

I don't feel the cramps in my glutes. It's right on the side of my leg under the hip :dead:. How will glute activation affect it?

Tilt your hips forwards. Might help...

I think I get this same thing actually. Is it on the outside of your hip, right outside the joint? I'm very prone to cramps, so I know that it sucks. I've mostly started just trying to ignore them and work through the pain.

If you get cramps in your hips, stretch them. Don't question graber's advice, he is the flexibility master.

Wait, disregard my advice haha. I didn't register that you said "cramp" =p
Stretching the muscles which cramp may help... by reducing their tension and making them less prone to contract or something...
Or you could just use different stretches. Chances are you'll benefit more from easier adductor stretches anyway (unless you're already somewhat advanced).
