Jump UP and stall with your arms out, then tuck.
Try not to lean back, your cutting out your height

Jesus christ is compelling you to set more.

I just dont like the fact that people consider it a different trick. Its the same principle as the high riaz and low riaz shizz:eh:

There's no such thing as standing jesus flip, for the same reason, why there's no standing layout.

Yeah, I dislike the low/high raiz thing too, they're just different ways to do the same trick.

"Hey dude, I really liked the way you used a lower gainer switch than usual to allow for that swingthru!"

"Oh, no, that's my low gainer switch. It's a different move."

"Uhhh...."

Not a layout unless your straight until landing, that was pike at end so he didnt die...I wouldnt class it as a standing layout

I think Tony G could do a "proper" standing layout.

Whatever happened to him?

you need to get a high'er backflip, then pulle it up go out in the jesus thing and then close in and rotate xD i think it is the best way to do it

You're already leaning really far back before you even get off the ground. Try looking forward the whole time with your chin in, and then pull your knees up to your chest for the tuck. You'll get it, you have nice timing with your tuck, but you're just going to have to suck it up and set facing forward,

Not a layout, Rudy....

whipped ?

he whipped the flip over like a whi/back whip/whip back, rather than staying hollow such as in a layout.

Edit: perfect example

A whole bunch of whips at :50
A real layout at :58

oh i was taught a layout is just like a high whip, ya know back arch, but send it up.

and we just call a holllow one a straight back :)

i hate to start an "argument" but... if you are supposed to stay hollow in a true layout then we can't call double layouts double layouts... they have to be referred to as a double whip... because you don't stay hollow.

I also think that part is kinda silly, but imagine how hard staying hollow on a double lay would be.

who told you that?

But the out curved in a double lay is due to the forces that will make your body do that. I'm going to have to go with kinstine on this one.

The double lays in the vid i posted, the ones with twists, are straight, not curved.

I dont found any other video with a standing jesus backtuck, just one of mine!

You have to learn a perfeckt backtuck with enought airtime and high, than it looks like a jesus back!
Jump straight in the, not back, and pull your chest and your hip in front!

min 0.06 for example
