I'd like to have nice kicks, and I've been working my C9s a shitload these past couple of months, but flips and twists are always going to be what I enjoy doing.

Flipping feels more fulfilling to me. A double back seems more grand to me than a double b-twist, though they both are crazy amazing. A jack-knife though, not so much. You can add a twist to a flip, you can add a kick to a twist, but you can't necessarily add a flip to a kick. I would like to see someone do it though besides Hans.

I feel as if flipping/twisting tricksters have something really big and important missing when I watch them. And a lot of the time, I'd see the same things over and over, from sampler to sampler.

To be honest I could say the same thing about 'kicking trickers' ahaha. Not that they have something missing, but they do do the same things over and over, sampler to sampler. No amount of sentimentality can change that fact.

On a side note....it's somewhat naive to divide 'flipping and twisting' trickers from 'kicking' trickers.

It's ridiculous haha. People like Anis, Sessh, Ott, Vellu, they're good because they do freaking everything haha. They're not like "oh no I'm not going to practice swinging out of a double twist because that makes me better at twisting, it's all about kicks!" Ludicrous thinking haha.

Do freaking everything obviously. Gawd.

It's a backflip with a kick :smile: at least that's how I interpret it. I suppose you could say it's a front (or whatever) kick with a backflip. But that's kinda weird to me.
