dub atwist help

Hi i have been trying to do a dub atwist for some days ago and i would really like to get some tips on how to land it, and how to get it more clean og high, there are some try'es in the start of the video and the best try is in the end of the video

pete_man_man would you care to share your knowledge on this move? seeing as you have a very powerful double atwist.
i'm struggling with this move too, so do you have some tips perhaps, pete?

one thing that helps me kinda is reaching forward a lot, i still cant land them tho haha.
my attempts are more like atwist gyros, i fear thats the wrong approach tho :sad:

it's a bad idea for someone who has been doing a move for a long time to give advice on said move because they don't know what they do anymore... they just do it..

you need to find someone who has just learnt it to tell you what they did.

all i remember is that i couldn't atwist or or hyperswpe very well when i first did double a's

i could, however, webster layout/ walkover very well at the time.

a lot of the technique for this move applies to the double a.

BUT I IMPLORE YOU NOT TO TRY TO DO THESE TECHNIQUES STRAIGHT AWAY WITH THE DOUBLE A!!! JUST DRILL THE LAYOUT WEBSTER THING A FUCK LOAD SO WHEN YOU EVENTUALLY TRY TRY THE DOUBLE A, MUSCLE MEMORY WILL TAKE CARE OF THE HEIGHT AND LIFT PART. ALL YOU WILL HAVE TO CONCENTRATE ON THEN, IS DOING THE SETUP REALLY FAST AND JUST SPINNING AS FAST AS YOU CAN

ok i think everything looks pretty good for this move, going just by the last one you did in the video. Work up a little more height and then what you have to work is pull your feet down at the end. the end is kinda like a double leg twist where after you twist you have to pull your legs back down to the ground to land. If you watch double a twist vids they rip the double hard and high in the air and then right at the end pull their feet down hard to land. your twist is good now work on ripping your feet down in time and picking up that chest and you will hit it in no time. oh and i would not do it onto the puzzle mats cause it can be sometimes a harsh landing
