Facing Direction?

So I'm right handed, so when I do an aerial, should I be facing to my right or my left? or do a 540, spin clockwise or counter-clockwise?

It does make a difference right? What kind of things should I take into consideration?

its not about what hand u are but if ur right or left legged kicker. i'm right handed as well, i started out as a right legged kicker but switched to left leg.

its all about what side is ur body stronger in spinning and kicking...sometimes ur a better spinner clockwise and better kicker counter.

like pete said just try shit out...no one can tell u this answer u actually gotta experiment and find out for urself.

aerial over your left side
spin counterclockwise

ofc you should do what feels most comfortable. but it makes a big difference when learning combos later on.
