I just bought something like this, except I paid about 80 bucks for it despite it going for half that price on E-bay. I assembled it, just need to tighten the screws. I can do that now.

The problem is, the box is a bit misleading, you don't just put it in your door. You need to screw in a very tiny bracket system on top of the door frame opposite the side you're putting the bar on. The top latchy thing goes into this, it helps bear the weight and hold it there.

My door is too small for this so I'm trying to get my brother to let me put it in his frame instead. Should I just go ahead and do it while he's asleep and hope he doesn't notice?

I couldn't find an iron gym though. It wasn't at the mall. This was the only bar they had with neutral grip :(

Also, the P90X it comes with is a piece of utter shit. It just shows guys doing pushups and chinups for 2 minutes, and then the other 28 minutes is a copy of the stupid fucking commercial they put on the shopping channel to buy their fucking overpriced $500 PoS system, I wanted to kill'm.

I'm checking out the iron gym now... as cool as it is, there's only 3 grip variations. Mine has 5!

BUT DOES IT ALLOW YOU TO DO DIPS WITH A 2in ROM?!!?!?I'm a bit confused, why would you do dips on a chinup bar? That's stupid.

On the box it shows what it can be used for, and one picture shows a guy using it in a way where you can do dips on it when it's on the floor. However the thing will only allow you do go down about 2 inches like tdmonster said.

Got it?

Got it?Oh yeah, I think I just blocked that out of my memory because it looked so damned stupid. I think it shows how you could use it for pushups too. I guess if you didn't want to use individual handles/paralettes this would be an alternative that would keep the width and alignment consistant or something.

Btw has anyone read Pavel's free "Guide to Hanging Leg Raises" (nw_abs_05_08.pdf) which you get if you sign up for the newsletter? I just read that, it's really cool.
