Hello!
I was doing some Corkscrews and I'm really having troubles landing this move consistantly. Like, I have landed it randomly a few times, but I need to get some tips for how to make it consistant [I know, it takes training, but I would want to hear your opinion about my Cork and tips are ALWAYS appreciated]. It seems like I'm going inverted at the end of my cork. Is it a big problem, or what? I need help AARGH!

tuck tighter! that leg way out there is hurting your flatspin

swing your leg straighter and make sure you get that swing to pull all the way through.

make sure you arms swing up and get good height before pulling in (they do this but the both need to swing up, your left one just kinda goes up)

also you are hella open..wrap tighter

Ok, a corkscrew is a fusion of two different moves, a backflip fulltwists and a slant gainer flash. You throw a slant gainer flash, arms swinging hard and all, and one you leave the ground (even by an inch), you twist.

It is important, of course, that you be quit proficient at both before moving on to corks.

As for specific advice: Guy 1: throw your arms up, throw your leg up harder and straighter, and stop doing it from a scoot. Scoots are great, but they just aren't a practical learning tool.
Guy 2: Ditch the matt. Get real good at the previously mentioned moves, and once you're confident with both and can throw them cleanly with ease, combine them and land this move easily rather than crashing over and over (and thus adding to your potential for injury).

Stop wearing socks, bad things will happen.
