I finally actually start it tomorrow now that gym will be open again, and I have a quick question to ask.
I can't see why it would, but would it remotely be a problem if part of the work out was done at a later point?
The gym which I am joining in doesn't have a power/squat rack, and instead has a smith machine which despite yes zomfgsoawfulnotfreeweight, is the only thing there I have to do squats with, which I have used before for squats last week to test the gym out and it was perfectly sound. However I don't want to be using this for the likes of bench pressing since this gym doesn't have a bench either (this gym isn't half as sucky as it sounds haha), because I don't want to give up this whole stabiliser muscle thing all together.
I was wondering if it would be a problem if for instance, I did the squats and deadlifts at the gym, then go to work, come home and do the benching at home?
I can't see why it would affect the progress but as always, there are people on here far more experienced than myself.
And as a note about the smith machine crap, as soon as I'm getting more hours in I am joining a different gym in the city centre which DOES have a squat rack, this shouldn't be too long so I can't see me being affected too much. Either way, I'd like this to remain on the subject of my question, and not that I will be doing squats in a freakin smith machine haha.
