Tell us your plan of action? That way we can compare the results with the said way of training.

Spiral
Jan-04-09, 06:44 AM
haha. hey guyz

well, i plan on

consuming alot of milk.
at least 2 turkey/chicken servings per day
nuts throughout the day
a couple of non workout whey shakes
Casein before bed

i'm aiming for 3000 calories per day, but i'm not really counting.

and i'm going to work out as i usually would.

working the main muscle groups 5x8 i guess.
Squats, Deadlift, various chest stuff, various back stuff.
edit: im gonna aim for a nice even split, monday wednesday saturday or something.

thing is, i'm usually bad for getting enough calories from a day so with this caloric increase i should see much better results.

in a nutshell.

You may want to actually count ya'know spiral, a lot of people miss out on them der calories by quite a fair amount.

Either way, good luck to getting muss. Being skinny is the worst =[

Aiden Bloodaxe
Jan-04-09, 07:01 AM
Yeah, food logging is easy as hell & becomes 2nd nature by the end of the first week,I've been logging for 11 or so months now, easy.:good: I don't even have to use concious effort any more,it's like waking up in the morning.

Skippy
Jan-04-09, 07:03 AM
Also after the first few days you kinda just remember how many calories everything has, and if you ever get a set diet, you only need to count it for the first day =p

Fo sheezy

Edit: I'm going to the gym in a sec Skippy...20RM SKWARTZ!:agony:

Jan-04-09, 07:08 AM
david, you're going to want to eat and train til you almost puke/die respectively.

high volume every session. maybe 3 exercises per muscle group. just do infinite sets til you're dead.

Skippy
Jan-04-09, 07:11 AM
"No such thing as over training, only under recovering".

I always wondered just how true that was haha.

Honken
Jan-04-09, 07:57 AM
It's true. Overuse injuries are a result of not enough recouperating between sessions.

Skippy
Jan-04-09, 08:05 AM
Sowwee Honken, whenever I read it I just think of general training, I'm not like the myriads of overly analytical folk who consider every single possibility haha.

"YOU'RE SAYING ALL THIS TIME MY BROKEN ARM WASN'T HEALED THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE I DIDN'T EAT ENOUGH PROT3INZ!"

Either way, let's all forget I even posted it before a 6 page debate occurs.

Steve
Jan-04-09, 09:04 AM
There's no need to eat/work until you puke, that's bad for you! Just make sure you're always full and then gingerly and lazily make your way around the gym doing infinite sets as Shengoikee said. Just keep up that muscular work until you are SWOLE AS HELL DAWG and can't lift anymore. Then go to sleep.

You will join us in time, dear brother. :wicked:

Dave, you are taller than me, you need to be eating more than 3000 calories a day.

But good luck!

Swartz
Jan-04-09, 05:43 PM
Haha! I dropped to 160 from 175 between this last summer and now. Pathetic. I'm already on my way to getting it back though as of this week. Let's go mutha fucka.

Aiden Bloodaxe
Jan-04-09, 05:46 PM

Aiden Bloodaxe
Jan-04-09, 05:53 PM

Skippy
Jan-04-09, 05:55 PM
Ohhhh yes baby, DA KING IZ BACK! GO MATT GO!

Swartz
Jan-04-09, 06:01 PM
Well I know what works for me. Training, diet, etc. It's how I gained weight before it's just I didn't stick to the gym like I should have, that's all.

Your enthusiasm is helpful too.

Aiden Bloodaxe
Jan-04-09, 06:05 PM
Yes,well I love seeing people I know(relatively) progress. You may know that what you did before worked, but you don't know what would work better until you try,I'm saying this incase what you did before didn't involve squats &/or deadlifts.

Swartz
Jan-04-09, 06:06 PM
Yes I was implenting them some, but certainly could do more. Thanks.

Jan-04-09, 06:12 PM
