Right, I want to start training again in mid february, i have NOT being weight training for nearly four months now. Would anyboby like to start a the same time so that we could work together towards a common goal?
The training program i intend using calls for gym training three times a week both in the morning and afternoon focusing on power and endurance very similar to rosstraining.com where Ross was testing a weight gain program. And cardio (interval training with weights), stretching etc on off days. sunday will be a rest day (the gym is closed :(). I have some programs that i am adapting to my desires if anyone in interested tell me and i'll send em'. Though probably only after a month cos of exams:eh:
Any takers?

You posted an earlier thread of the same name with your program. I'll quote it here, so please go delete that one.
Right, I want to start training again in mid february, i have NOT being weight training for nearly four months now. Would anyboby like to start a the same time so that we could work together towards a common goal? the training program i intend using is as follows:
Morning:warm up
Squats(main exercise):8reps
pressups():max
planche bridge: max
All three exercises are completed without rest in between to form one set, There are 4 sets the final set is done at low reps (3to4). With around 3 mins rest between sets.
Deadlift:
pullups:
Same as above
Pistols:3(8 reps) with weights
situps:(max)
dips:(max)
Afternoon
Shoulder press:4(8reps)
pullups:4(max)
dumbbell flyers:4(max)
Chestpress:4(8reps)
pullovers:4(8reps)
This is just the basic plan theres going to be other workouts as well i'll post the full program sometime after my exams. Just if anyone is interested just let me know (though i might not get back to you for a month or so)
Ross Enamait is a pretty cool guy. When you say you do pistols, is it with heels up or down?

If your goal is bulking, which I would assume from picking something like his bulking experiment, why didn't you choose a program by someone who actually trains people for that goal, instead of one by someone who trains people to box?
Just out of curiosity.

Soda, just because he specializes in boxing doesn't mean he doesn't know how to do anything else.

I thought I added more to that post.
Anyway, I know that he definately knows his stuff, that's obvious. I also think he could come up with programs for people who are looking to put on some mass purely for asthetic reasons. If that's someones goal though, why wouldn't someone go with a coach who specializes in that goal? I wasn't really criticizing his choice though, I was actually just curious.
