I don't think there's a real technique you could use, just practise doing it. Make the movement more fluid and eventually it should get together nicely.

Can you slide into them from standing?

That's not really the same thing haha. I can see where you're coming from, but landing from say a 360 or c7 into a split is a whole different league.

i can't slide everywhere, but can on a slippery floor

Meh, just work up to it from similar moves. I can (or rather could :agony:) do it from a cartwheel or aerial, but the momentum helps in those cases. Doing it from a spinning kick could be hard to do smoothly.
Just figure out how to move the non-landing leg around for the split.
I suppose splitting from a pop 360 would be a lot like splitting from a standing outside crescent...

Landing a pop 360 in a split really shouldn't be a problem if you can normally do a split.. all you need is good control and air awareness in the 360

Try to land the move and just slide out into split, try to land with legs more and more spread and then just do it - you get the feeling of how to land a move in the splits when you do that (land with spread legs and slide out)!
Btwist 2 split feels really like missing the landing with the left leg, and landing into split - so overrotation is a factor, when we're talking about twisting moves!
Also, you need dynamic splits because landing a trick into the splits isn't really a static motion lol. I have no idea how folks land tricks2split on a plyo, I can only do it on grass - you should try it there first too, wet grass is great for 2 split tricks

one of my friends at 1:09 lands into split, and somehow he seems to reach the split before he even lands

that's what I mean by good control. You need to sort of finish the trick before you land (if that makes any sense), so basically try and get more airtime than you usually would.

haha landing in the split first is scary, but after a few tries youll realize that it looks more painfull than it actually is
this is me doing illusion2split, btw i cant do a normal illusion twist anymore haha i soo got used to landing in the split

so the slippery floor isn't necessary, if you open up before landing
btw, a gainerflash landed into split scares the hell out of me :D

Some floors have too much friction that your feet just can't slide when your weight is on them, so you need to be in splits before you hit the ground, meaning you should have dynamic splits as well as cold splits.
If you land in splits though... which part of you are you planning to land on exactly? Remember that some part of you has to take that impact. Plan based on that.
