Ok, my camera creates movie files onto an SD card, it exports them as an AVI. When I go to upload into movie maker all I get is the sound! I tried installing a codec package. The video now plays in windows movie player, Help please!
maybe you should download vegas? it might not support it either though.

Hmm, convert the .AVI files into what? Any programs you found?
Get premiere or vegas. MM = Fail
(IM or text me and I can get you an older version or premiere that works quite nicely
"The product works ok, given the price. All I really want to do is use the video file that it produces in a digital video editing software program. Simple, but after researching online and being on support for an hour, it appears this file format (MPEG4 (H.264) in AVI wrapper) does not work with microsoft movie maker or ulead video studio 11. I downloaded every know codec and still nothing. This is a problem with the file format and codec. This needs to be resolved by the manufacturer or someone who produces codecs for video editing software. If you don't plan to edit this video, good product."
erm use super converter (http://www.erightsoft.net/SUPER.html) to convert if you want to stick with wmm.
here's the download link:
