Okay I'm comming to a dangerous level of losing all tricking and heavy lifting interest. It's been two years of an injury, a physio and a chiropractor that didn't solve the problem, and now I have to wait until march 16 for new ct scans and then probably another month of waiting to see a physio or something. What can I do to stay motivated without getting depressed by watching tricking videos?

I know what you feel, cause I tore my knee half year ago and I still can't train :(.
I join to your question. What can we do to stay motivated..?

Figure out the reason why you trick and which goals you have.. Then train other parts of your body, now I dunno where your injury is located but it can't affect all types of training

Lower back. I can't trick, squat, deadlift, olympic lift, run, sprint, or do martial arts with quick and explosive movements.

can you leg press? If so you can atleast work on your vertical jump.
Apart from that you could just work on getting muss on bodyparts you can still train, like chest, Arms, Shoulders and calves. I know it's bad not to train all parts of your body, but in your situation I would say fuck it. this way you have atleast something to do, stay motivated, and when it's not for much longer than 6 months or something like that, you wont create that immense disbalances anyway, as if you couldn't easily compensate them later.
Or you work on your flexibility, if you have interests in that, and aren't very flexible yet.
Or you start swimming if it's possible with your injury, it's a good training for the whole body if you use different strokes, intensities and distances etc.
OR you work alot, and save money for things like a new cam, flights to gatherings etc if you want, and just come back to tricking and lifting when you're healed.

try visulizing every trick you want to do when youre better....you know sort of like mental conditioning....
or if you can do some handstands, maybe progress to a one hand handstand if it dosnt stress your back to much

by any chance...is ur lower back pain located along ur belt line? just above ur ass or is more in the center of ur spine? where ur sacrum is pretty much?
also do u have difficulty laying on ur stomach and/or raising ur knees?
if so, ur prob is relatively easy to fix and u should go see an osteopath or a kinesiologist...dont even ask ur doctor if u should go because he will say its bullshit. chiro and physio never do shit...
im a kinesiologist and i fix stupid probs like this in a matter of 1-2 sessions where chiros and physios take months with no results. do urself a favor and fine a good one and get it fixed!!!
if u need more advice and/or u wana explain to me in more detail the prob, ill b able to better assess the prob :D

I can leg press but as soon as I get out of the seat my back throbs haha.

The pain is from the upper ass to the lower lumbar area. I was thinking it might be a buldged disc, scar tissue that won't heal, a hip imbalance, or pain due to lordosis which I do have. When I lay on my stomach and try to lift my knees I don't have too much trouble but just a little harder than it should be. My hip also cracks because of my snapping hip syndrome. Here's how my back problems happened and a little history of what kind of bullshit I had to got through:
I got the injury about two years ago from doing tricks into a sandpit and my back and hips weren't strong enough to take the extra foot or two of height. I did a lot of aerials and 540s by the way. The next day my lower back was really sore and has been sore ever since. The first physio I went to said it was because one of my hips or my pelvis slipped a little higher than the other, causing the lower back pain(usually mostly on one side or the middle). He gave me light exercises to do and I did them for as long as he said and they seemed to help. But when I was done the physio, my back started to hurt again.
So I went to a chiropractor a month later and my back started to heal more but still very slowly. After about 15 sessions he said that I didn't really need anymore chiropratic stuff and that I can start to strengthen my back. I tried to but my back would never stop hurting. I haven't been able to lift consistently and heavy for two years which is driving me crazy.
The last time I went to the doctor they directly called one of the medical centres in my city for ct scans and it took a couple of weeks just for the place to call back. My appointment is on the 16th of march and because the healthcare system is fucked up where I live, I probably have to wait a lot more before I even get an assessment.
go c a KINESIOLOGIST lol they ll fix u in no time.
i got the exact same prob due to too much aerials and 540s too! it was so fukin annoying!!! and hip hip constantly popped. 2-3 treatments with them and u good to go :D

I'll research this right away and protest my parents that I will not go to school, eat, or do any chores if they don't take me
