Great attempt, man! You were close, real effin' close.
It helps to set on your fulls, though. By set, I mean throw your arms up. In the case of a roundoff, however, considering your arms are already "up" while you're upside down (in relation to the rest of your body, that is), all you have to do is leave them there (don't drop them like most tricksters).
Go watch any video of Joe Eigo doing either a roundoff backflip, or a back handspring to backflip (the same concept applies to both) and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Anyway, excellent attempt nonetheless!

Haha, I can easely do ro-bhs-jesus, I'm just not used to twisting at all. Thats probably why I put my hands down when I'm twisting. Ty for commenting.

I'm not refering to "Jesus flips" here. Setting is something that should be applied to virtually every single roundoff move. Check out Joe Eigo's roundoff stuff and you'll see what I mean. If you can d/l something of his and watch it in frame-by-frame, all the better.

for some real advice:
can you parafuso? do you know the technique for it?? its basically like forcing your head to your legs and your legs to your head, kinda like a closing jaw.
the best way to look at this is how you should look at any trick.
ask yourself first, whats the pre req?? full in this case, obviously. so go into your full twist, and when you feel its appropriate, apply that dleg technique (like a closing jaw or mouth.. lol, legs to your head and head to your legs.)
a lot of people dont think you need to bring ur head downt o your legs, it doesnt look like it but it helps :)
dleg is a kick so if you can spot a target, but you probably will just spot the floor like in most cases when people dleg out.

I agree with adam. every time i would do a cart full, i would not set at all. i would jump and start twisting. Everyone kept telling me to "get my arms up" before i twisted. I didn't think it would help, because it seemed like the twist i had already wasn't fast enough. but it was because I wasn't setting, that my twist wasn't fast also. As soon as i finally tried to get my arms up and then twist, it worked perfect and i fell out of it, when before it was low and fast and i barely landed. if you think about it... the muscle has to expand before it can contract, and if you start twisting right off the ground, like you are, the muscles don't have much room to contract. As for the legs... that's the easy part. Do just what David said and spot, and get your head and legs together. And just like a double leg, make sure you follow through, and pull through the whole trick. Whenever my double legs start feeling crappy, i realize that i'm just not putting everything into the trick, and not following through.
Maybe that will help. Also! when you set, you don't have to do it for that long at all. Get your arms up and bring them right back down. just make sure you bring them up. you'll get more hieght, and more spin.:ogre:
