Today i went to my Doctor to talk about a pain that i feel in my groin area ( right leg ).....the diagnostic is : Tendonitis
He told me to stop and rest for a while ( months ), he also said that is not a severe tendonitis, i might just rest and take all the medication and also not force the area.

So i have some questions.

1 - Will i lose flexibility cause of this injury ???
2 - It's is possible to get SIDE SPLITS when i'm recovered ??? or i will never got them???
3 - It will be harder to train flexibility ???

Thank you

I think that I maybe have something similar although it has started to slowly heal recently(it hurt badly for months). So I wanted to know, when do you feel this pain? When doing cartwheels and roundoffs? I probably should go see a doctor too but...well I just haven't.

I don't think you'll lose a significant amount of flexibility because of this. Rest up and do what the doctor said. You'll get the sidesplit later when you're fully recovered :)

I got that pain a few months ago ...and start with no warm up ..."side split aerial " i've heard a "crack" but it didn't hurt to much ...just a few weeks ago i started to feel more pain while stretching ....then i went to see a doctor and now im "stopped" .... i think you shouln't wait more ...go to see a doctor as fast as you can ;)

just a quick question, you are an idiot

I don't think that was the response he was looking for.

and I don't really think you are an idiot, ninjitsian, just saying, responses like that are a waste.

and your post is a waste for pointing that out:) there was a point to asking. its because maybe if he did he would have a couple answers, and at least we could have a little bit more information to help the guy out rather than making diagnosing and making judgement when none of us here are doctors. yes doctors are retarted, but it doesnt mean they may not know the fundementals
