i try and try but i just can't get the feeling for the kick
it just feels so awkward

can anyone please give me tips to eventually get to the point that i can do it. maybe certain kicks to practice,or changing btwist, etc

I actually learned the shuriken twist first because it felt more natural for me. Anyways tips...first thing i do is to not think of it like a kick, every time i do i simply throw an illusion twist, instead i setup like my normal btwist, but when i jump i push really hard through my toes with my jumping leg, straitening the leg out. I keep pushing as i begin to twist and before i know it ive landed.

Not super technical, but its how i think about it. For me its more of a mental trick then a physical one.

i have recently got my shurikens to the standerd that i'm very happy with and EmpRitz's advice is v. good when i learnt to illusion i popped it just fro like a backside set up then slowly changed it into a btwist setup until i was digging and kickin up but releasin th kick mid twist :)

vid would help. I had the same kind of problem. First learn a good illusion twist, that helps a lot. Then just take out the illusion and you kind of just adjust to doing a shuriken. its a weird move but once you get that then u can b-twist double leg. there fun

learn illusion twist.
then do that but wrap like you would a normal btwist.
pretty much.
shuriken twists have become my normal twist due to doing them so often.
