for some reason when i go to do my j-step i feel like i am going to slip, and most time my foot does slip. is because i am not doing the step right or is it something else? for some reason i cant get comfortable with it.

I've slipped a couple of times like that too and I've examined other ppl jsteps but couldn't find any significant differents. Maybe we just aren't heavy enough xD

I don't really think there is a solution, i slip doing them sometimes but still usually works out ok unless its a double cork or something.

Just keep drilling it and eventually you will get comfortable with it.

i took a break on jstep and started using scoots and spin setup. i cant seem to get the steps down either. i mean its easy to just take three steps into a j, but its hard to get the technicalities of it. im also trying to figure out if you are supposed to travel on your moves or not, and if your limbs other than your kicking leg are supposed to be straight up and in a straight line or not. what is your body posture supposed to be like when you take off?

if i do my normal set up on grass then ill slip everytime so i shorten it up and put less power in it. gym floor = full power j-step
