yeah, earlier today I messed up my ankle.
I know its not a bone thing, seems like a tendon/ligament thing.
I have a tricking session tomorrow night, and I'll be pissed if I miss it.
should I just pop some pills and go or give it a break?
pills will only make the pain go away, it wont magically heal your ankle. You need to R.I.C.E it, if you trick on it it'll only get worse then u'll have to rest it even longer

=( thats what I thought. maybe if Im lucky it'll be better by tomorrow night? no. I have shit for luck
well R.I.C.E it now, once i thought i sprained my ankle during a session, turns out the next morning it was fine :p

if you're thinking about maybe going to trick tomorrow you clearly haven't messed up your ankle, so stop whining. Do whatever you want, but it certainly wont hurt to wait till it has recovered. But I don't dare to think what tragical things might could happen if you miss one trickingsession. lawl

As said R.I.C.E!
and then tomorrow night wear an ankle brace(support/pressure bandage), i don't recommend over use of ankle supports as it can heal/not allow full recovery if you always wear it and baby sit it, but just while you have bigger sessions wear it, then when it starts getting better and you can walk on it have 5 min sessions with it off!
Also just work on tricks with less impact, and avoid having to land on it and you will still have a good session! good luck!

RICE and if pain persist go to a doctor. And don't go its one session, better to not injure yourself more and cause permanent damage.

in our Sports Leadership Class with R.I.C.E we learnt R.I.C.E.D
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation
Diagnosis
and on top of that we learnt H.A.R.M
Heat
Alcohol
Running
Massage allthough i think massaging sometimes helps
but yer just RICE it like everyone keeps sayin haha
