I dunno if its a good deal or not. I got off work at around 3 am, and headed to Wal-mart as it was the only place open , desperately needing some "sleep stack" supplies. I stumbled upon some L-glutamine for 2.99. 500 mg tablets :)
I remember L-glutamine being expensive at GNC..I wonder if theres a legit reason..maybe I bought crap? but oh well 2.99
You might aswell throw your money down the drain. Its HORSESSHIT...

anything with your probable load of shit diet will do nothing.
ive found L-glut to work well as a recovery agent
Why do you need to supplement l-glutamine, Chuki? You have one chance to get this question correct.

Here is one serving of beef round, Chuki. It has 20 times the quantity of glutamic acid as these supplements do, plus every other essential amino acid, some minerals, and fat, while costing about the same per serving, all things equal. What do you think about that Chuki?

I'm gonna go eat a banana or two and head out for some training at the far far away gym.
*Gasp* There's a banana crisis at home... Gonna have to buy some on the way there

Ive started working at UPS loading about 1000 packages per night, averaging about 35 pounds, but many over 70 pounds. Its not a lot of weight but..Seriously. I scanned 1000 packages...So I moved 1000 packages, a good deal of those loaded above head height as you have to load from floor to ceiling and its very fast paced..over the course of like 3 hours with only 1 10 minute break.
My muscles have been very sore and Ive been doing this every 24 hours for the past 2 weeks. I thought that perhaps my muscles werent having adequate time to recover since I wasnt used to this type of work..So I thought I should try to supplement over the night to try to help my muscles as much as possible? I want to be able to perform at my job.
And from what I understand Glutamine is the most WIDELY used amino acid in the body. Cant hurt?
Whats bothering me more is..If I want to start going to the gym as well, With me having to work and lift every 24 hours anyway..wouldnt a GYM workout interfere with my work performance? And take away precious recovery time?

You don't need much supplements for endurance training haha.
Infact I wouldn't even call what you're doing a workout

Meh probably not. I just know Im sore :( I took it as a sign that my muscles werent healing fast enough and so I started back with the only procedure I remembered to maximize recovery. The Sleep stack w00t.
Plus I mean..I DO plan on going to the gym. Im just worried a gym workout might interfere with work performance and further compound recovery issues?
Or does it not matter. Ive also really lost my appetite over the last 2 weeks.
I used to eat like a pig now i have to force myself to eat..So Im more in the habit of .."Well since i HAVE to eat...I need to give my body what it needs when it needs it "

If your muscles are still that sore after a couple of weeks or a month of your job, then there's a problem.
If not, going to the gym 3 times a week is good enough provided you have a decent routine. And a decent routine can be found in several threads on these forums but I'm too lazy right now to look.

Not really, I used to have a job where I just carried around big ass tables and shit all day, it didn't really interfere with my training, I just made sure to eat a bit more than I thought I needed.

Could be weakness or you might be doing something wrong that's causing unnecessary muscle soreness.

I wouldn't worry, if you're in a job carrying shit all day you're bound to always end up sore. Having a good diet though can ofcourse assist in reducing this over time as your body gets more adapt to the stress.
Most likely the "problem" is that Chuki is on a diet of cookies or something, and pathetically frail. Just sort your life out, take some aspirin, and get a buff firefighter to massage out your aches you homo

My diet usually consists of..
My morning shake :). 1/2 cup whole oats, 1 1/2 cup skim milk, two tablespoon peanut butter, half a scoop of whey. My Multivitamin.
Ill eat fruits throughout the first half of the day, Maybe for lunch I will have a sandwich turkey or something, try to keep the fats low for the first part of the day. If I do eat lots of starches and fatty meats (like when my dad cooks) I will eat proper portions, I eat a lot of salmon and veggies, chicken etc.
Before work Ill try to eat some starches, maybe some tuna also for protein. Ill get home, Have some whey and water for quick protein, then Ill do my sleep stack. I usually get home at about 3 am
Sadly ive really lost my appetite since ive started work. My calorie intake has been very low...like I said..So i try to logicaly think what my body needs at a particular time, and feed myself that.
