Know that there are some people on here interested in Wushu so just a quick notice - there is a He Jingde seminar coming up on the 18-19th April (saturday - sunday) at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, Reading in the UK.
Jingde is an ex-member of the Beijing and China National Wushu teams, current member of the HK Wushu team and recent martial arts performer/coach/choreographer for the Vegas "KA" Cirque du Soleil show. Has also at times been a guest coach of national wushu teams of Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Holland and Thailand.
If you are in to Wushu, specifically the southern styles or sabre this would be well worth the time :)
First day is modern Wushu: nandu (wushu jumps/kicks/twists) elements and nanquan, nandao/gun, daoshu
Second day is traditional: Wushu fundamentals and Baijiquan
5 hours each day on our carpet (hence location) - £40 one day or £70 for two days. Cost reflects that Graeme has privately funded the whole thing, including his flights/visa/fees. (Not bad considering the tariff is up in the several hundreds for private coaching in LA from Jingde)
