Carpal tunnel Syndrome?

So I was woken up several times during my sleep with pain radiating up my arm, and my middle and ring finger and the section of hand they reside in were numb.

I realized this was happening even though my arm was not in an awkward position, the numbness will happen randomly but usually if im say..gripping a steering wheel or something but the pain has only come at night and this is the first time its happened.

Hm, I've been having awkward pains in my thumb and wrist (though it's the thumb that hurts) - I've looked up Carpel Tunnel Syndrome last week and I could relate to some symptoms, but I'm not sure yet. I can't bench press, military press (both barbell, dumbbell I can still handle) or back squat because it destroys my wrist at the moment. It also hurst to give a ''thumbs up'' with it haha. I feel a weird ''rollover'' pain in the bones in my wrist.

As it's getting pretty serious I decided to go see a doc (appointment in 2 days). I think I developed it by doing cleans and catching the weigh not correctly, and by playing guitar tuned in drop C (I have bad technique I guess: when I make a chord using just my left finger, transitioning all the weight there, and having my thumb on the neck of the thing - yeah that freaking hurts right now). It started slowly a week or 3-4 ago.
