Well kinda, I'll explain.
It was a really sunny day today so I thought I would go down to my local football field and do some tricks. So I set up my camera, warmed up did a few tricks and got myself into the jist of things. After about ten minutes I turned around to see that in the distance there was a big row of people just staring in my direction, I thought...nah this can't be for me atall, there is a football game on about 50foot from me their probably just watching it from a distance or getting ready to pick kids up.
Anyway, I did a few tricks and they all started clapping, and being the showman I turned and bowed and sat down to have a drink, I looked up and saw two girls charging over to me across the field. So they got here and it turned out they were around 14-15 and did street dacning and gymnastics, and they go to my old senior school around the corner so they vaugly knew me from years ago.
So we started talking about flips and this and that, they'd ask if I could do something I'd try me best to do it and so on and helped them with some stuff, anyway next thing I knew I was swamped with 30 odd kids that were over the field so I was talking to them all and they were all doing aerials and stuff here and there. So after a while I found out that in the building across the field they were having dance/gymnastics classes and saw me and thought that I did one of the two, they were quite suprised to find out that I havnt been doing it a long time nor that I did either.
So after a while of talking and flipping one of the teachers came over and said to the kids to go in to the hall and stuff for a rehersal and she started talking to me about tricking/flips/MA, and said after I'm finished I should go into the hall and see whats going down.
So after I'd finished filiming and whatnot I went into the hall and watched them for a while and they were pretty good actually. So the teacher dismissed the class and came over to me and started talking about how there are around 25girls in the class and only 5 boys, and that they havnt really had that much motivation to do stuff because of all the girls wanting to do other stuff. She said at 10-11 they do acro sessions and that it would be awesome if I could make it down there and help some of the people with certian moves and things, I agreed and she even mentioned money, even though I'm quite happy to teach them for free.
So overall I guess I was in the right place at the right time.
Sorry for how long that was, but It was a cool story to tell you guys and hopefully I can get a couple of them into tricking along the way:smile:
