Just the other day I was having so much fun drilling one handed fhs.. I ached the next day, so I rested for a few days. I go to drill them today and I can't land a single one. My whole technique seems to have changed and I can't get it back.
I am so unbelievably frustrated.. I punched a few dents in the grass. What do you do to calm down, and get a lost move again..
Thanks..
woo another nsw tricker! <3
I always had this in mind, you always get a trick when you LEAST expect it. Everyones different but thats how it usually goes for me
as for losing tricks, its sort of the same concept but I record myself, spot my mistakes and focus on fixing it
most of the time is tensing up, I usually land tricks better when im relaxed
hope this helps :)

Another one of these threads.
I can see your frustration, man. This happens to everyone of us, we get some we lose some. Now you wanna get back what you lost. In order to do that you gotta calm down, do not try it much maybe 3 times per training. Forget about it and then re-learn it. I recently did this with quite few of my tricks, so what I did is that I analyzed my old techniques and then I picked out the tricker that in my opinion do those tricks best and analyzed what they did. Suddenly you just understand everything and the lost trick makes sense again.
This is the technique I use to gain lost variation like hyper Cheat kicks or cork variations. But if your problem is that you lose your air awareness in the lost trick your problems are a bit bigger. This is you not used to do the motion of the trick so you just gotta do it halfassed on to crash matts or something else just to get used to do it again.
That's basically what I do, my techniques might not work for you but I hope you get an idea of how to fix it.
Good luck

I've lost a lot of my tricks, and it sucks. But when I re-learn them, I can usually do them better than before =D
At the moment I cant do raiz and kicks because of my stupid hip -.-

You could have just been having an off day where you couldn't do any tricks. I've had those plenty of times. I've had days where I can't even do a 540, and I'm laying with my face on the ground going WTF

Hahah relax man, we all lose tricks once in a while. I've lost almost all the tricks I can do, except the few basic ones haha. Just stop doing the trick you can't do and do some other tricks, and then try it again another time. Analyse your technique and post a video in the tips for tricks section, if you can't see what's wrong with it! If you can't do it, don't keep trying and crashing unless you're fairly close - it'll probably just make it worse haha. Try it twice or thrice, and if it doesn't work, just stop and do other tricks man.

I feelfor you I often lose random tricks for no reason. I lost my btwist and hyper twist most recently, and for awhile I lost my favorite trick, gainer flashes, for no reason. I even lost my cheat720's out of nowhere for like 2 weeks.
I got my cheat7's and gainer flashes back by not doing them for a few weeks, studying my old technique and the technique of others who could do it well, and then went out and got them back on the first try.
It happens welcome to tricking  good luck getting 'em back
I've lost everything over the winter, and have just recently started re-learning everything. You get stuff back a lot quicker than learning them, and I've noticed I have a lot more power in my tricks.
Basicly, don't get stressed out. Tricking is about having fun, if you get angry stop do something else, then come back the next day and try again.
I lost double-leg and my c720s are of lower quality now than just a few weeks ago. But I'm very optimistic about it all and you should be too! Tricking is an on-going journey with tons of tricks to learn so do what everyone else says and focus on others for a bit and then go back to that "lost" move.
its called a bad day of trickng, happens to everyone, one day you have a really good session, and then the other days, you wont have a good session.
