If any of you are considering taking this supplement, do it! I was taking it (1,500 mg a day) a couple months back and it was great, here's what my #'s were at

Dumbell Press: 55lbs 3x5
Bench Press: 135 3x5
Chin-ups: could rep out 10
Pull-ups (wide grip): get up to 5
Squats: 175lbs 3x5
Deadlift: 205lbs 3x5

Those are just an assortment. Now, I eventually ran out and had to convince my mom to order some more (she is a alternative supplement/treatment, homeopathic, holistic fan. All at once. I really had to do work just to get some protein) so in that time period when I didn't have any, my numbers dropped significantly

Dumbell Press: 50lb 3x5....barely
Bench: 125 3x5
Chin-uos: 5 at most
Pull-ups: 3

Squats and deadlifts stayed the same weight, but I needed more sets and effort to pump out the needed reps. But with the Beta-Alanine I could do an entire workout and still feel energized and awesome. This is because it reduces muscle fatigue by keeping the pH in the muscles balanced.

This might sound like a sales add, but it's not lol  If you train with weights or anything that uses muscle (any activity) and you train with intensity, use it.

When did you take it, exactly? Just before the work out? Early in the morning?

I took it after breakfast. That way the tingling (not harmful) you get from it is gone by my strength workout which is usually mid-late afternoon.

Thank you. I will take this supplements in hopes I will one day be able to bench 135 and deadlift 200 lbs.

Haha yes people take so many supplements that really are pointless unless you're at a decent level anyway, you may as well just stick to the basics and spend the spare money on something else.

Haha, I know my lifts suck, not a point of personal pride. But they sucked even more when I was off it.

Beta-alanine supposedly has a positive effect since it buffers up your carnosine levels. Similar effects to creatine that is. My pre-workout drink includes beta-alanine.

Meh, it's probably illegal in Norway anyways. I'm waiting for meat to be banned soon, because of its highly anabolic and roid-rage inducing effects.

Meh, I think the only singular amino acid genuinely worth taking pre-workout would be L-arginine, maybe l-carnitine too.

If you buy some L-arginine which is like, $6 for a months supply, tak 1g of it with some B6 and b12 with a cup of coffee you've pretty much just made your own NO Xplode.

Good times.

I tended to have better workouts after supplementing with l-arginine and BCAAs pre-workout.

Too bad I've run out of both:(

Somehow I've always felt as if nothing matters.
