Yo TT.
I just borrowed air alert III off a mate, to attempt to increase my horrendously average vert. Has anyone else done the program? are the results worth the effort?

bad program get ahold of vertical leap bible
yeah, don't do that. I tried it, it's dumb and doesn't do much. The first two weeks are good for "activating" your jump muscles to some degree, but the rest is shit. And can lead to joint problems.

How can it lead to joint problems?

Because it's an unnecessary amount of volume that is usually brought on in a rather short period of time.
I did it when I was a noob and knew nothing about training, it didn't increase my vert what so ever.

theres more risk then reward. not that there is any reward really. a couple people i know did it, and they had knee pain during and for like 2 weeks after.

Mm I did it but only like the first couple weeks. It's okay for liek the first four weeks or so cause it's not much, but after that, the repitition gets crazy so stay away from it..O.O.
It helped me..but not alot.

if you have very strong lower back (you are good at deadlifts) and your legs suck this program will make huge impact on your vertical leap. But if you do not have strong back this program will reduce your vertical leap. Because jumping is not all legs. I have seen lots of kids in basketball school doing this. About 30 cases i witnessed. Kids who could do planches and shit(superb core strenght) increased vertical from hardly touch basketball rim to dunk 360 monster dunkz. Kids who had weak core got disproportional big legz and their vertical jump went down.(like 5 cm - 2 inches down)

Air alert is not going to give anyone disproportionally big legs.
Get the Vertical Jump Bible.

yes for untrained skinny kids it gives muscle endurance, believe it or not..
Fixed. They'd only build mass if they're really, really weak.
