Aiden Bloodaxe

that is the question

The only 'experimental' thing I've blended in it is eggshells.

I prefer a proper blender. Though it is good for whisking stuff (with the proper attachment).

I have one of those magic bullets.

Its pretty awesome. You screw the blade attachment to the end of the cup, and pup it on the base and blend ur shit. The cup tapers down at the TOP so everything can fall downward easier and to clean it just unscrew the blade attachment and run it under hot water immediately, rinse cup after consuming.

No fuss

They greatly overexxagurate the quickness of it..but it does handle ice pretty well. As far as making nutritional shakes its ideal and easy

There is a battery powered one called "magic bullet: to go" also. its also great because you can take it with you to work or to a gym

Hand blenders can be pretty powerful. Plus they are alot easier to clean.
Obviously a 'real' blender will be better for destroying oats, ice, i-pods and such. But they are slightly annoying to clean.
Magic bullets had the most annoying advertising campaign ever and come with far too many attachments and such. But they actually do a pretty good job, while being relatively easy to clean. I think the regular cups are too small though.

How is rinsing a blender right after using it and blending some soapy water hard to clean?

No one says they're hard to clean. Just takes more time, obviously.

i use the magic bullet, it is pretty useful, though I do get carried away with ingredients sometimes and make the cup overflow
plus it is much cheaper than fancy commercial blenders like vitamix or blendtec

though you could get a shitty hamilton beach one for the same price
