anyone got this? I remember i saw a link somewhere.... Im out of the gym for the time being. going to keep myself conditioned with bodyweights instead of doing nothing

I would prefer an optimum routine that would max preformance. the same reason why you don't slap random weight training excersises and expect them to work.

anyways i plan to just do pullups,pushups, some sort of ab exercise and burpees now.

google the gymnast body website,
but it seems to me you dont realise the potential of bodyweight exercises and teckniques, have you seen those elite gymnasts in the olypics on the rings or the paralelle bars and noticed there amazing strength, agility... well most likley in the gymnastics training have never lifted a weight except for there own bodies.

i reckon you should work on some l-seats, hand walk/balence, elbow press, frog stands... and build up from there

wtf people such a douchebags, like weigtlifting is the only answer to all muss questions XD. If you make muscle work, it doesnt matter how, it will work. Only advantage of weightlifting in hardcore bodybuilding is that you can easiely isolate any muscle. You have be very creative to do that with bodyweight xD, but if we talk about just getting strong and big and not meat freak, weighlifting is not only answer. I never lifted weights in my life and i am 240 lb 7% fat, 6 foot 2.

You can't isolate a muscle, you can isolate a joint to emphasize a muscle though I suppose.
