do you guys believe george carlin's position on improving your immune system? exposing yourself and getting your immune system stronger instead of going apeshit bananas over good hygiene?

Then you don't deserve her. Leave her and have your way living out the rest of your life as a smelly infectious hermit.

I'd say exposing yourself to stuff is just the surface of the immune system, if you have a crap immune system, exposing yourself will make you sick. You can get a crap immune system from heaps of stuff like overtraining, stress, not enough sleep, crappy diet or you already have some disease. You're worried abot antibodies, which I don't think are as big a worry as the immune sytem as a whole.

dude this post is worthless. you wash and are clean to keep viruses and bacteria away from you (even though cleaniness is only an illusion) but YES you introduce shit in your body to make is immunde. wtf do you think vaccinations are. its a diseas in a tiny amount that your body can handle so you grow an immunity for it. c'mon now.
Your body adapts to the level of harmful microorganisms in your environment - within its ability. There's no point in intentionally exposing yourself to it.

I go the george carlin way...but I take a bunch of vitamins and stuff so if anything is around my body fights it off before I even know I have anything, and also when i do get sick it's normally for half a day or so and that is rare.
P.S I do wash my hands, I just don't freak when something dirty is near me or if someone is sick around me.

Exposing yourself really doesn't make you stronger... get the required nutrients and amino acids and stuff, move around to keep your lymphatic going, make sure you have a clear elimination system, drink water and have fibre, move your legs to keep digestion going.
Oh and something about hot and cold water? Who knows.
