I hope these guys don't think they are actually adept with the sword or something. As far as martial arts go. XMA and the like is impressive and fun to watch but the fact they market themselves as "martial artists" is pretty annoying. If they were just stunt people then I wouldn't care. Just the idea that NASKA considers this martial in nature just goes to show what a bunch idiots they are.

Is it that easy to forget that the word Art is included in Martial Arts?

People knock stuff like this for not being Martial but no one makes any stink about how there's NOTHING artful about Krav Maga yet its labeled as a Martial Art.

Its a yummy double standard.

There are two words to the title and two sides to what it conveys. Labeling yourself as a Martial Artist without exploring both those sides is an outright lie.

EDIT: That being said, I find the people that do staff forms with a staff that has no weight to it to be a bit silly.
