Healthy skin is a part of the happy life one is leading. Everybody loves to have glowing, pinkish and healthier looking skin.

theses some tips help you to get healthy skin.

1.Wash your face with a good cleanser in every morning and night.

2.Scrub your skin with a natural scrub at least once a week.

3.Apply honey on skin two times a week in the morning or night. Massage for five minutes in circular motions and rinse off with warm water.

4.Make it a habit to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Water performs wonders on your skin.

5.Have a separate towel for yourself to wipe face and body.

6.If you have dry skin, apply Vaseline on skin and massage for a few minutes before going to bed. You will see an amazing difference in the morning when you wake up.

For healthier skin, be a pirate. That stuff could work, I'm not sure how/what properties some of it has. To be saying that the best looking skin is all natural with nothing done to it is like saying the biggest muscles are all natural with no steroids.

To be honest I was expecting to see a product for sale at the end.

Haha I was going to link this to your thread, Jackamaideshwang.

But um... washing my face actually gives me pimples. So I just leave it alone, except that I exfoliate once in a while.

Haha why would a 27 year old female join these forums just to make one post about skin health?

I also thought there was gonna be a product for sale. I only looked here cause I thought it might be a spambot rofl

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Way to be metro. :wicked:

I don't wash my face at all, except a light rinse in the shower sometimes.

Haha Alex you post that American Psycho reference in every skin based thread, and every time people don't get it

Is it disheartening?

Yes, but not as disheartening as a missed reference in a Phil Collins or Huey Lewis and the News thread.

I would rather eat honey. This is sure a lot of work, it should be more of a concern for somebody who is already incredibly fit because otherwise this won't noticably improve their looks anyway.

I bet sweat is a natural cleanser.

I usually use an exfoliating gel on my face while I'm in the shower, followed by normal plain soap. I will get out, and use an anti-aging moisturizer on my face. Before I go to sleep, I will use anti-pimple pads (I guess they are peroxide based or something) to clean my face off, and then will reapply the moisturizer on my face, unless I notice that my face has been particularly dry, in which case I will use a little bit of vasoline instead.

Anti-aging is funny. They should call it "stuff with vitamins in case you don't get enough in your diet or your circulatory system can't bring it to your cells, with antioxidants to slow accumulation of free radical damage, and we put in some elastin to make you think that it'll actually restore youthful skin and lessen wrinkles even though we have no evidence the cells will be able to incorporate it" moisturizer cream.

This stuff actually doesn't say anything about vitamins or anything. It just says it has SPF 15 sunscreen in it. It's by L'Oreal.

Some anti-aging creams have been clinically proven to have an effect by independent studies.

Even just keeping the skin moisturised and protected from UV will reduce the rate of apparent aging.

I wish I found this thread earlier. As soon as I saw "stomach crunches," I understood, ahahahaha.

Also, learn what food allergies you *may* have. That helped clear up my face some.

I tried some neutrogina 'oil-free' acne wash and it just gave me more pimples. Now I splash my face with water a couple times a day and never touch it and it's clear for the most part.

Even just keeping the skin moisturised and protected from UV will reduce the rate of apparent aging.Well, free radical damage accumulation is one factor of aging, so slowing it slows part of aging and thus slows aging, but not in any absolute sorta way.

Really anything that increases turnover is going to shorten the telomeres...
