In my opinion, a sideflip looks more like a no handed cartwheel, albeit the fact its tucked. And a one handed cartwheel isn't a prerequisite, but it helps. Most people will end up doing it on accident anyway.

There are 8 kinds of cartwheels

1. the regular wheel :2 hands: Vetruvian Man cartwheel

2. Diving cartwheel :2 hands: Both feet are in the air when you plant the first hand

3. Spike :2 hands: Dive plant both hands at the same time and push off to both feet. All sideways.

4. 1 handed cartwheel :first Hand: where you plant your first and and carry overtill both feet are planted then finish with lifting your hand.

5. 1 handed cartwheel :second Hand: where you tuck your first hand and swing your second over your head like a sideways handstand. Then finish as normal.

6. 1 hand Ariel :First hand: Plant your first hand than use it to push off and complete a 3/4 ariel in the air.

7. An Actual Ariel :no hands: looks like an ariel sort of. lol

8. A side flip :no hands: looks like a sideways barrel roll tucked.

Oh and I don't consider myself the leading expert.
