It's been awhile since i've visited TT. I'm now going to be in my own apartment from now on, and therefore I have come up with a list of food to buy. Post your own shopping list if you want. I plan on food shopping once weekly, so here is the list:
******************
1 Half gallon of milk
1 Dozen Eggs
14 slices of turkey and white american cheese, 28 slices of salami
1 loaf of100% whole grain bread
Several cans of black beans
Large bag of brown rice (whole grain)
Black olives
Fish (scrod or cod, with a lemon and margarine to cook with)
Boneless chicken breast
90% lean ground beef
pork cutlets
Bananas, grapes, black rasberries, apples, cherry tomatoes, carrots, green beans, spinach, green peppers, lettuce, peas
White tea
cottage cheese, yogurt
**********************
Is this list win? If not, what changes would you make?
Also, in case it is important, I currently weigh 210 pounds, and plan on dropping that to about 180 or so...I will be running and doing basic bodyweight exercises such as pushups, situps, and squats this summer...the gym comes in the fall. I will also be eating whenever i feel like it (when i'm hungry), none of this meal crap.

IMO these are garbage.
Processed sandwich meat FTL.. if you want to make sandwiches get tuna in water..
HFCS in bread FTL ( I get 'Arnold's Double Protein', no HFCS in it)
Olives I think are all just sodium, not to mention taste like shit :|
Pork isnt on my 'lean meats' list
This is basically what I make do with:
eggs
arnold protein bread
skim milk
frozen berries
kashi cereal
kashi bars/fiber one bars
cottage cheese
tuna
chicken breast
fish
steamed vegetables
FRUITZ
some peanut butter
compleks

No need to be too anal.
Sliced turkey can actually be breast meat. Who knows what really goes into Salami though.
Not all bread has HFCS, and 100% whole grain is a good choice if you want bread in your diet.
Olives have sodium, which isn't as bad for you as people make out. They are fine. Moderation of course.
Pork may not be the leanest meat. But there is nothing wrong with fat. If anything yourdiet could probably use some more oils, nuts, fats etc...
Don't be too strict on yourself. Buy a variety of foods each week. You can still have your staples, but don't limit yourself too much.

Gin is dirty, especially tesco value gin. You need to at least splash out on some glen's vodka

The red bauble is an essential part of that diet
If you don't like gin, Tesco do a range of fine drinks to choose from.

about 4 kg of fruit

I went to Tesco after work yesterday afternoon. I bought:
Frozen pizza, a carton of "tropical juice drink", a steak pie, sausage rolls, hot dogs, bacon, lorne sausage, black pudding, sausagemeat, chicken spread, hot dog buns, scones, gingerbread men (ate them before I got to the checkout though), chocolate mousse (like some woman), cognac (like some old man).

Anfeyd's got the right idea.
To the original poster, don't use margarine, and especially not for cooking, use animal fat, it goes heaps cheap and way better for cooking (or coconut oil). And although the rice and bread are cheap, they make you pack on the fat, I used to have heaps of rice, never getting any leaner or more muscular.
My shopping list goes:
Coconuts x3
1kg packs of kangaroo mince x 4
375g Tins of tuna x3
Brocolli, Mushrooms, Carrot, Tomato, lettuce.
Grow my own herbs and eggs so don't have to worry about that.
Extra virgin coconut oil for cooking and random eating -lasts several weeks at least.
Meat going cheap, unfortunately not grass fed.
Almonds
The odd experiment, like tahini, or palm fruit oil or some ridiculous animal's organs.
