I want to try back tuck already, but I want to get a mat to help break the fear. Anyone know where to get one that isn't going to cost me $150? Preferably something that is portable ( I don't want to leave it out all day, like something foldable is good.). The cheaper the better obviously. Thanks.

I don't want to get the extra spring, besides it would be too much work taking out and in all the time. thx

"Capture and tame a good spotter"
... seriously , that's the most efficient way to learn - get a double spot if you have to.
If you don't take anyone's advice ; you can always find a "cheap" mat online somewhere

yea I've been hving some trouble with the capturing part, everyone is either too scared, has no time, or just isn't qualified lol
isnt qualified lol in other words they don't have arms or they have no muscles or are midgets or you are fat.Or they are blind or perhaps have a tendancy to spontainously vomit.

no, the isn't qualified is referring to my mother lol, I'm 6'2 (and like 155-160 pounds) and she is like 5'0 lol

Cheapest and most mobile mat I think would be grass. Its, like, all over the place, although you might be able to find some online... Stay away from that expensive shit though, thats how they get you.
just use a god damn maress or take a couple of old duvets outside or better yet get a friend to spot you

Yes I thought about grass alrdy lol, my prob with grass is to things. 1. The grass in my backyard is mud sticks and weeds and uneven dirt- basically not available for tricking. 2. Grass elsewhere like a park or something. Just don't want to make a whole show of me looking like an idiot while I attempt to do a back flip without landing on my head. Also, I don't only want a mat for tricking, I'm a bboy so I want it for things like coindrops and such.
